The venue is the world-class Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), located in the beautiful coastal city of Cape Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The advent of 4IR and new ways in which to represent and interact with geospatial information has given rise to new cartographic and geospatial information science and management. Join us to discuss and debate the topic of \u2018smart cartography\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">By 2023 the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will be at the half-way stage and an important topic for consideration by the international cartographic and geospatial information community at that time, particularly in an African city.
